In this course you will be exposed to the store environment and stock control which is the clerical control of the movement of goods and stock levels. You will also learn how to manage stock.

Programme Type

The DCC Storekeeping and Stock Control Certificate is a DCC Career Programme, which is not an accredited NQF qualification. This programme has been approved by the Damelin Correspondence College Academic Board. 

Programme Duration

You should be able to complete this course within 12 to 18 months.

Entrance Requirements

Grade 10 (Std. 8) or an equivalent, or relevant work experience (2 years). 

Student Assessment

All assignments are optional, but you will need to write and pass six formal examinations. Please note that examinations are written in June and October/November of each year. You must complete an examination entry form and submit it to the College, together with the prescribed examination fee before the closing date for the next examination.

Please note: the examination fee is not included in your tuition fee. 


On successful completion of this course, you will receive your Damelin Correspondence College Storekeeping and Stock Control Certificate.
